A machine-readable framework for telling the platform story: how engineering best practices are Standardized, Consumed, Automated, Leveraged, and made Effective across an organization.
The Five Aspects
Every metric is tagged with exactly one aspect. SCALE is an aggregation and narrative layer over detailed maturity metrics — not another metrics catalog. Maturity frameworks make it cheap to generate hundreds of metrics, and cheap metrics destroy the story. SCALE's purpose is to make hundreds of metrics readable as five aspect-level storylines.

Why It Matters for ProductBuilders
AI agents make it cheap to generate code and specs — they do not make it cheap to keep the result standardized, automated, or reused. Left unchecked, that gap is exactly how AI-generated systems become unmaintainable at scale: consumption outruns standards, automation lags enforcement, and duplicated effort erodes leverage. SCALE exists to keep that gap visible, aspect by aspect, so "did this actually get more maintainable" has an honest answer instead of a metrics dashboard nobody reads.
